We spent a weekend in Tyler,Tx and on the way home decided to stop by Cherokee Trace. So glad we did. This place is a little out of the way but worth the trip. We have been to other drive thru safaris but this one is the best. I believe the cost was 14.00/adults and 8.00/kids. They give you a card with all of the animals listed so that you can identify them and each person gets a bag of food to feed the animals. There are lots of animals on a 300 acre habitat ,the road is easy to follow, a little rough but I drove it in my car with little problems. The kids loved feeding the deer and other animals. Get directions on their website and follow them closely because there aren't many signs to show you the way.
