Description: ...The opposite of a quiet, intimate sushi bar, the Blue Fish is enormous, loud, stylish and good. Where else can you find a signature roll called El Cubano ($9.50)? It's spicy pork, jalapeno, cilantro, Jalapeno pepper and carrots, with a sweet and spicy sauce. What's most refreshing here is that the menu is all Japanese -- no Thai food to confuse the palate. And to be honest, sushi purists will find plenty to keep them interested. Live specials such as Spanish mackarel, Sea Urchin, Live Hottate(scallop), Black Bass, mirugai (giant clam) and much more.Order the Ahi Tower to see just how well the kitchen can plate. It's tuna tartar and sesame oil over snow crab and avocado salad on a bed of wasabi infused rice. It's almost tragic to watch the server destroy this architectural marvel table-side to make it easier to eat. The "cake" portion of spicy tuna on crispy rice cakes in uzu and garlic sauce. It's delicious...

Delicious, fresh, delicately displayed Japanese food. So beautiful in it's artistic layout, that you hate to eat it to "mess it up." But it's wonderful! We had a bento box: oh how delightful!
A beautiful array of tempura, salmon, salad, rice, sushi.........and a lovely orange artistically arranged.

Try the spring rolls and the wonderful martinis! It's so much fun to eat in such a relaxing atmosphere. It's a great place to meet friends for quiet visits and talks.

tried sushi for the first time...this was great! Watch out for that wasabi...that will take your head off. Atmosphere is nice and the menu selection made it easy to pick something that I could try/like.

I love Blue Fish and the sushi is amazing, but the bar atmosphere in the front of the restaurant made me feel grimy - almost like I was eating in a dingy bar, rather than the incredible restaurant that it is. I will be back to sample even more sushi, but not in the front of the restaurant this time. Try the sushi with the cooked scallops smothered on top. It's huge, expensive and amazing.

I have had lunch here multiple times while in Las Colinas, but this was my first dinner. The fish is fresh, the menu extensive and the service is quick. The restaurant is huge, with multiple sushi bars and chefs. I plan on coming back next trip.

This is my favorite sushi place in the Dallas area. The atmosphere is great, the service is great and, of course, the sushi is great! Sometimes it gets really crowded. But, they are expanding to the space next door. So, hopefully, this will help.

Tip: The happy hour specials are good values. I like the Eel and Avocado Roll the best of the happy hour specials.
