Piman was our favorite choice, in Irving, for Asian food. Suddenly, a new owner took over. We ususally visit Piman 2-3 times each week. Imagine our surprise, when we arrived to pick up our 'to-go' order and were berated by this woman complaining that we were not paying enough for the order. "The price will be double next time". Her attitude was negative. Her posture was argumentative and extremely unpleasant. This is certainly not the way to run any business in America.

We have been so happy with the previous owner and wait staff. We hope the new owner will re-think her approach to customer service.

In the meantime, we are going to take a 'break' from Piman and try some other Asian restaurants.

If you are looking for quality Asian Food at a reasonable price, try Piman. The restaurant is clean and tastefully simple.

The Thai dishes are outstanding, especially the curry's.

Be prepared to wait at lunchtime, unless you arrive early.

The manager, TJ, is great.

This place looks small.. but they are fast. SO they can seat more people. The food is fantastic, I would have to say the best Asian food I have yet to eat. Service is wonderful.
They are also very friendly :)

We went to Piman at about 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon. There was no one else eating besides us. The food was delicious! We had Salmon in Green Curry which was a nice piece of Salmon and curry was not to thick or watery and Orange Beef which was crispy not like other places. The wait for the food was reasonable. I highly suggest the chicken corn soup or tom kha chicken soup for a starer. This is one restaurant that I will definitely visit again.

A Thai Cafe located on O'Connor Boulevard in Las Colinas. It's in a strip mall, and has a clean classy Thai decor.

I especially enjoyed the edamame ($3.50), and Chicken Fried Rice ($6.95-ish).
Both were generous portions and freshly prepared.

They serve delicious light puffs of shrimp crackers while you wait for your food.
They are the size of silver dollar pancakes and taste like the Thai version of a pork rind, but with a rice like flavor.

For a great value, and easy quick lunch...I'd give them a try.
It sure beats hitting a Subway sandwich for lunch.
