We had a great time with our 3 Scouts there. Good amount of displays and memorabilia. History for the teens and adults, fun for the little guys. The interactive area has a shooting gallery, pinewood derby track with cars to race and a virtual ATV race where you pedal bikes to race.

Good display about the high adventure camps the BSA has to offer, got our Boy Scout very excited about the chance of going to one or more of them.

One of the best things was the trivia - more of an information scavenger hunt. Each rank has their own questions. Walk through the museum to find the answers. Volunteers were helpful for the tough ones, and pointed you to the right answer instead of just giving it to you. Turn in the correct answers and you get a ribbon for your Pack or Troop flag. The boys are as excited about that ribbon as they were about visiting the museum. Gift shop on site (with a Scout Shop) so you can pick up some trinkets.

Visiting this site also counted towards the Scouting Heritage Merit Badge. Next time we are in the area we will be back for sure.

If you are into and/ or interested in scouting this museum might be the place for you to visit. However, spending many years as a police explorer (a division of scouting) i was not impressed with no representation of career based explorer programs

If you like to learn about American history and a great group that helped build this amazing country then you need to visit this museum. The museum teaches you about the history of the boy scouts and what they stand for.

We visited on a Monday and thus it was free. They had original Norman Rockwell paintings and they are truly amazing! The shooting gallery was fun as were the other exhibits.

If you respect the scouts or you were one, then you need to visit.

Very high quality and clean throughout.

Two days a week the museum is free. There are always 4 docents each day who are very knowledgeable. The displays are professional and the interactive areas are unusual.
