“Good Business Stay”

I had a good stay at this hotel. I was treated very well by the staff. The ammenities were a little better than average. Overall a good place for business stays. The continental breakfast was not the greates, but did serve its purpose. The beds were still a little hard, but the service of the Hotel staff really made up for any problems I felt were an issue.

I have stayed here a few times in the past, but this time sort of irked me a bit.

Check in was, well, ok I guess. I am just sorry that the lady checking me and doing her JOB was taken away from the conversation/flirting she was doing with the guy helping her man the front desk and whoever you were texting too... But I was welcomed as a Diamond and got a room, so all wasn't lost totally!

Now for the room, same as it ever was, but I wish somehow the desk faced the TV versus the blank wall! Also, my room remained on the warm side of things all night. You should be able to cool the room and keep it cool enough to be able to use the covers at night, so no way it was actually 65 in that room that night... There must be some central control of AC going, I thought that was just China that pulled that on a guest! I am becoming overly sensitive to this sort of thing at hotels and understand the energy conservation and $ saving attempts, but come on now, let your guest determine their own comfort, when they leave, crank up the set point until the next one fills the room, or just charge everyone a few bucks more during the peak cooling season.

Didn't eat breaksfast here, actually I never have since I usually have early flights out of DFW, so no comment on that, but I did find that parking this time was a little crowded, but they do have parking for Diamond's reserved, so that was sort of nice, if only they could enforce keeping people within the lines so you can actually pull your rental into the space and be able to get out of the car, that would help!

I will likely return, since I am loyal to Hilton and the HGI and ES close by are always higher price, but its a little disappointing to see things deteriorate bit by bit each time you return to a property.

Nice, clean rooms. Great Staff couldn't have been more satisfied with my experience at the Hampton Inn in Irving Texas. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If you are in Irving and need a place to stay for a night or longer take advantage of this hotel and the great customer service they provide. Also they have a great restaurant right next door.

Friendly staff, good cookies. Decent breakfast but my suite had no desk to use to operate by laptop. I was told by the lobby staff to haul a table from the lobby to my room. Funny! Glad the room had towels. I probably would had to wash and dry them. Good restaurant next door.

Although it is a little difficult to get to initially, this hotel exceeds expectations as an airport layover hotel.
The friendly staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The shuttle bus is literally at your disposal.
An early 5:45AM flight? No problem! Just let them know and the driver will be waiting for you at 4:00AM - even though the service doesn't start until 5:00AM.
Restaurants are walking distance away.
The down side is that close to the front door parking is limited.
Check in and ask if you could be picked up at car rental center. Drop your car off that night and take the shuttle to the airport in the morning. No hassles with the rental car bus and you get dropped off on the departure level.
Please don't forget to tip the driver, he does a fantastic job.

Room Tip: The even numbered rooms are on the west side and the sun is bright. Ask for an odd numbered room if...

very clean and affordable, been staying her off and on for 15 years when I travel. they allow you to keep your car at the hotel and have a free airport shuttle. that saves a fortune and allows me to be 5 min from airport for early am flights, no traffic or delay concerns. good breakfast as well.

Close and convenient to airport. My first floor room was quiet, clean, and fresh. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Shuttle driver made extra effort to take me to airport at 4 a.m. for early morning flight. I'd recommend staying.
