As a Marriott Platinum, it's always a pleasure when you find a hotel that truly gets it, when it comes to their most loyal customers. DFW Marriott North does! A call at the airport produces the shuttle bus within 10 minutes (they're always on call for instant service). Check in, room quality and cleanliness were excellent. As Marriott Platinum, I got their Internet service in-room complimentary.

But the topper was Concierge breakfast. WOW! Freshly cooked, hot moist scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked oatmeal, very nice selection of fruits, lots of bread choices, and superb Concierge Lounge service. The only issue is space....the Lounge isn't the largest so get there before 7:30 a.m. or around 9 a.m. Otherwise you might be eating standing up (and enjoying every bite).

The return shuttle to the hotel runs continuously. You show up in the lobby to depart the hotel, and the bus leaves, even if you're the only passenger. That's service. My only less than excellent rating is the cost. At $219 per night (AAA rate), I consider this hotel to be a bit pricey (but still much better than paying the Grand Hyatt at Terminal D, even though it's attached to the airport proper).

Old reliable. They treat Platinum members well....concierge, good breakfast on wkends. Sports bar is downstairs. Rooms are clean. Work out room is good. Pool ok. Service is above avg. Nothing to walk to, that's the only downside...d.t. is a good drive.

Went to a wedding at the hotel the staff was very nice and friendly. Wedding set up was very nice. The breakfast was very good and for the price being able to have a ready made and the buffet I thought was a good deal. We ate at Picthers for lunch food was very good but a little over priced. Only bad thing was that we left our phone charger in the room. We checked out around 3 AM. I called back to the hotel around 4 AM to let them know. However housekeeping says they didn't find it in the room. had to but new one but if no one was in the room where did the charger go? Lesson learn always double check before leaving the room.

What you'd expect from Marriott; reliable. Nice small business center, well-equipped gym, good restaurants, super-convenient location near airport and major office parks in that area. Really clean and well-appointed. High charge ($12.95/day) for high-speed internet access -- I know this is typical of full-service hotels, but it is really galling. Unlike a few other commenters on TripAdvisor, I found it absolutely quiet and had several great nights' sleep here.
Now for my "not too green" comment: unlike many other Marriotts I have stayed in lately, there is no -- zero, zilch, nada -- recycling. Not of mixed containers, not of paper; nothing. And, unlike most places that say, "place the towel on the rack to re-use it," there is no such sign. I nonetheless hung up my towels, but they were replaced. Doesn't Texas have water shortages? Don't they recycle at all? I found this disappointing.

We stop here very year on our way to and from Puert Vallarta, MX. We love the free shuttle to/from the airport. Check in was a breeze and the room was clean and spacious. We opted foor the Grapevine Mills package. This included transportation (about 3 miles) for my wife to & from the mall. The only problem was that it snowed 8" the day before we arrived. It was tough to get around Dallas when the locals were not used to driving in the snow.

I chose to stay at this hotel because of the restaruants offered and because of the shuttle to the airport. ((Weather looked like we might be iced in for a while.) The listing shows a grill, a steakhouse, a sports bar and a regular bar. I was most disappointed that only the sports bar was open which meant my 81 year old mother and I had to eat among those drinking and partying to the football games. In addition. my hamburger and her fish and fries cost almost $30. The day after our arrival, our room was not cleaned until 3:30 pm, despite my call at 2pm requesting service. The hotel offers neither the "award-winning customer satisfaction and superior service" that it claims on its website and that I have come to expect from Marriott.
