The one thing you expect at an airport hotel is aircraft noise, however the sound insulation was really poor...and the air conditioning almost as loud as the aircraft...

Otherwise the lobby and bar area were fine & the food service was prompt & friendly.

Just remember your ear plugs

Thank you very much for your feedback and concern about the noise of air conditioning/airport. I will personally address the air-cond noise issue with my engineering department. Next time we are happy to reserve the room east side of the building to avoid airport traffic noise. This was an unplanned stay due to changes in my business schedule. What a nice surprise. We were picked up promptly at the airport. The staff had our rooms ready when we arrived and we're very pleasant. The rooms were very nice. They were clean and well-appointed. I would not hesitate to return to this location again.

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks for a business trip. The hotel is the classic very good Marriott, very large, with a very comfortable lobby and a great restaurant.
The rooms are very large and well soundproof despite the constant passing of airplanes.
The rooms are very clean, the bathroom is very large, the room service is excellent.
The hotel also has a very large swimming pool, both indoor and outdoor.
The only downside is that the hotel is always very crowded, considering the proximity to the airport, and the concierge lounge closes a little too soon.

I have been here before and the staff used to make you feel like family, now there appears to be a new management group and it is no longer up to Marriott standards. It is the little things that I guess they hope most guest won't realize. Can no longer get balcony room upgrades, this used to be very common. Glasses in rooms are now plastic cups and you get a generic room key, not even a Marriott key. Once again little things but not what you expect. Room was not made up when I got back the next day, they claimed I requested no service. No paper delivered to room and staff is either brand new and not able help or appear to all be in fear of their jobs. Sure hope they can turn it around. Stayed with a group that goes their yearly and group is talking about changing hotels next year because my experience was not uncommon. If you have a delayed flight this hotel is fine, longer than one day you may be disappointed.

On behalf of the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott, kindly accept our sincerest apologies for your experience during your recent stay with us. For hygienic reasons, we have recently switched to plastic cups in the room. We feel this is the best choice. I will certainly follow-up with my Housekeeping team about your room not being serviced, I apologize for that as well as not having an upgrade available for you. Please rest assured, it is not within our standard of service and I thank you for sharing this with me, as it gives us an opportunity to improve.
On August 1st, Marriott will be discontinuing our USA Today program, however this has not taken affect yet and I will follow-up to find out why this was not delivered to your room.
Mr Dolan, I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us. I hope that you will choose to stay with us again should your travels bring you through the area, and we will be able to provide you with the service you deserve and have earned as a Marriott Rewards Member. I ended up here following a flight screw up. The staff was super helpful, got me picked up from the airport, and helped sort out my trip the next morning. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The facility is clean, the rooms in great shape, and the coffee good.
