I loved everything about this hotel. It truly looked and felt like a Four Seasons. From the gorgeous lobby, beautiful orchids and wonderful restaurant to the personalized service and spacious, beautiful guests rooms, everything was pretty much perfect. We had two rooms for four nights, room service multiple times and loads of special requests (send packages, retrieve packages, organize dinners, etc.) The service was flawless. The Trevi restaurant has a great menu at very reasonable prices for the standard and location, and the food was delicious (had the Brick Chicken and the Tomato Mozzarella Salad twice.) Room service breakfasts and dinners were delivered promptly, exactly as ordered and piping hot!! Both rooms were gigantic with beautiful views, very nice furniture and linens and they included separate sitting and dining areas in addition to an entry and wet bar with a coffee maker. The location was very convenient to all of Dallas and both airports. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. We'll be in Dallas again next month and will be right back at the Omni Mandalay Las Collinas. It was obvious that everyone who works at the Omni Mandalay takes tremendous pride in their hotel and the service they offer to guests. Hats off to their management. Undoubtedly one of the best run hotels I've experienced!

Everything is big in Texas. Or so it feels. But the Omni somehow does it right. The lobby is big but warm and intimate. Our room -- a suite with a sitting area, wet bar and entry lobby (although we didn't pay for a suite) felt spacious and comfortable but was beautifully decorated to feel cozy and comfortable. Small touches show a rare attention to detail. The lamp cords, for example, are wrapped in silk. The rooms smell good. The healthclub provides decent quality earphones. Lovely landscaping. Nice bathrobes and toiletries. Beautiful upholstery and curtains. And the staff is ever-present and helpful without being obtrusive. The restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious.
Among the "off" notes, and there were only a few: The parking garage, while free, is a bit of pain and you're hauling suitcases up and down stairs if you choose to use it. There's a crazy byzantine hallway you need to navigate to find the healthclub and pool (hint, from the Lower Lobby level: cut across the lovely grass courtyard if the weather permits). My room had a Murphy bed -- which was a tad awkward in that one had to scoot in and out of bed lest you bang your head or elbow on the cabinetry -- and I worried that it would be uncomfortable, but the sheets were great and we had a good night's sleep.

I haven't had a lot of experience with Omni's before but would definitely return -- overall, this hotel offered affordable luxury and quality service.

Room Tip: It's a tall hotel -- go for a higher room to get better views, and ask for something with a cana...

My wife and I stayed for two nights recently, and cannot say enough good things about the hotel. It is a great location on the canal in Las Colinas. The rooms are large and airy, and the views are wonderful. The staff was friendly, and there were always more than enough people at the check in or concierge desk that you never had to wait very long for service. Will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Omni. The M Bar was a good stop for ambiance and decently priced drinks. Food at Trevi's was great. We were able to walk to several other restaurants that are very close. I'd say that the area is very, very safe.

Stayed 2/23 with a much reduced rate. If you are offered or get a chance to, sign up for their SelectGuest program. It's free.

Hotel has easy free parking. Impressive lobby...it's huge with lots of quiet places to sit. Check in was a breeze.

Room was simply fantastic. Very roomy. Downside was we needed two beds and they only have doubles, not queens. However, the beds were very comfortable and made up for their smaller size in comfort.

Bathrooms were great. They have all sorts of freebies; soap/shampoo/lotion, soaps, shower caps, cotton balls, q-tips, and the coupe de grace---sewing kit. They even have robes and starch for ironing! Shazam!

Hotel bar was pretty cool. Typical prices. They have a pool table which is different. Didn't eat in the restaraunt, which is Italian. Prices were kind of high.

The Select Guest program means they bring cookies and milk when they turn down your beds. A very nice touch. And the next morning we got coffee and juice delivered to the door right on time.

Ordered room service, which was delayed due to a snafu but promptly delivered. Bacon and some toast was like $20, but it was dang tasty.

Loved the setting by the shores of the Lake. Made for a nice walk. Not much is nearby but there is a cool bar/restaraunt within walking distance that was much more our style.

I totally would stay here again anytime.

My husband and I stayed here and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly, gym was excellent, ambiance was beautiful, and it smelled fantastic! We did have to enroll in their select program so we could get free wi-fi...it doesn't come automatic like a lot of other hotels. The location was nice, as there are plenty of restaurants within 10 miles (you just have to know where to go); but we also made the drive to Fort Worth one evening (30-40 min). We self-parked b/c it was free, and very easy (you can park in the garage that is right next to the hotel). We both got great workouts while there, thanks to the variety of gym equipment. The restaurant had a nice breakfast buffet, although I didn't feel the service from the waitstaff matched the luxury of the hotel. I had to ask for refills on my drinks both days I ate there (not a big deal, but other places I've been that match the caliber of this hotel I have not had to seek out the waiter). That's my only complaint though (and not much of one anyway). If the price was right (which is was via our booking on expedia), we would definitely stay here again. Oh, and the piano music in the evening was lovely - you could tell the player really enjoyed playing the piano.
