The Mandalay Canal use to be the primer location. Sadly, business have slowly left the area because of high rent. It is still very lovely, calming and a tough of old worldly. There is a wonderful bar and grill with out door seating, perfect for enjoying a cold beer on a hot afternoon, or romantic dinner on a warm evening.

A very quiet and romantic ride for two on the water with a wonderful view of Los Colinas.

walking/running trail along the canal is great, but shops and restaurants leave something to be desired.

Not much in the immediate area that I saw as far as restaurants or shops. Nice walking path along canal, but not much else to offer.

I work at Williams Square. There is only one restaurant, basically a lunch cafe for the people who work in the complex.

The Canal has not had any activity for more than 12 years. There is nothing to see or do in this immediate area. As for a stroll. Yes, you can walk on deserted streets and see office buildings and parking garages.
I rate this as ZERO.
