We have dined at Elaine's Table for several years during the summer.
However, we made a special stop to take family there for lunch and were quite disappointed. The menu was very limited, and the food was not up to standards. Portions were small, and lacked flavor.
The setting is a beautiful stone building with a view of the river. The wine list is nice, and the desserts are very good. I had the chocolate cayenne cake...a favorite of mine. I hope this was just a fluke, but next time we will choose another restaurant.
