Hard to find and hard to get to but great once you arrive.
We concentrated on nearby attractions like Stonehenge II and Hunt Store while others went into San Antonio or Austin.
There are 3 pools. Each is worth a try. The water slide is simple but a good distraction. The hikes and star gazing areas are interesting.
There is no daily maid service but the office freely gives supplies to launder, shower and have coffee.
This is tops in quality and service. It is maintained well.
Take groceries because it’s a long way to Kerrville.

Very good experience with the resort. The check in process was very easy and timely. The resort is well maintained and the staff is very courteous, helpful and professional. The location is great. We would definitely return to this resort if the opportunity presented itself

Will be back again. Great place to take your children. The staff was very pleasant. The one downside was having to drive to Kerville to go to town and that was at least a 20 minute drive. Would recommend.

This was the best RCI resort we’ve been to, quality wise!
Very nice spacious units, nicely furnished, great beds and pillows and extra touches you don’t find elsewhere... Well stocked and friendly staff.

Check in is at 4 so we took our time to grocery shop so we could cook dinner. Arrived between 5-6 to be told rooms aren’t ready/cleaned yet and not sure when it would be ...along with lots of other families. Had to ask them to put our cold food in their staff refrigerator which they did. Drove back into town to shop and pass some time. We called them back around 7:30 and still no rooms so we figured we better forget about cooking and go out for dinner at that point. Arrived back at 9 pm, exhausted from flying and traveling, assuming surely our room would be ready only to be told it still wasn’t ready...they did order dominoes pizzas for all of the people waiting in the lobby and parking lot. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Families were on their phones calling around looking for places to stay. Some people left and the staff found several families a hotel in town for the night. They offered around 10:30ish or so to get us rooms in town but we really didn’t want to have to unpack twice. We finally were told our room was ready around 10 minutes after midnight and there was still another couple waiting in the lobby for their room. The ladies running the desk tried their best to do what they could. All those reservations and short staffed on cleaning crew.
Our unit was nice though. Like others have said you can hear every movement from the unit above you so I’d recommend staying on the second floor. You just have to carry your luggage up. Pool area is nice with a slide and hot tub. The clubhouse has a ping pong table and a pool table. There is a fabulous indoor bar area but they serve no food or drinks so bring your drinks and snacks with you. Not a lot to do directly around this resort so plan your days and venture out. During our stay we requested a DVD player and they brought us one. Had to pay for WiFi but it’s a must when planning your days here. Nice, off the beaten path location.

Room tip: 2nd story would be nicer views.

We're sorry to hear that your valuable vacation time was taken away from you due to the situation during check-in. We're happy to hear that our resort staff was able to assist you to the best of their abilities, but we're troubled to hear that you had to encounter this during your stay. We value your feedback and have passed along your comments to Resort Management to look into this further.
