I get exactly what I need from the Lord in the service at the Luke. My experience is always uplifting, as I never leave the same. If you are looking for a closer relationship with God, this is the place to be.

If you're looking for an extraordinary worship experience, this is definitely the place to go. Dr. Timothy W. Sloan, Senior Pastor, does a phenomenal job bringing forth the Word of God in EVERY service, every week. Services are held at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM Sundays and the environment is very friendly, family oriented. There is childrens church for those wishing to take advantage and even a "cry room", for parents who may have a little one whose a bit restless, from which the service can still be heard and seen. If you have never heard of this church, you MUST stop by "The Luke" (which it is affectionately known) when you are in the Houston, TX area.

Wow! I could not tell the difference between what was happening on the alter when young teens danced and jirated their bodies to a supposed "Christian" song. I cannot tell how a choreographed dance was any different than what secular performers do? For an unbeliever this a terrible thing to demonstrate. How do we win souls for Christ when we have not separated ourselves from the things that do not glorify God? The church has included the worldly acts into the church and has attempted to justify it. Very sad!!
