“Run for the Hills!”
Reviewed March 12, 2012

After waiting 45 minutes to an hour for the free shuttle to arrive - we finally hired a taxi to bring us to the Days Inn. We booked this hotel on the description of being "new" and "clean" and it was just one night for a connecting flight in the a.m. I was with my husband and two boys and we were given room 116.
The grounds were okay, except for the trash in the pool. While we were there before our trip to Nicaragua - it was unsettling to have killed more mosquitoes in our room there, then we ended up doing on our trip to the Mosquito Coast!!
We did manage to find a decent Chinese Restaurant that delivered timely to our room. The need to hit the sheets early and get a decent night sleep would have been ideal - except for the aspiring porn actress in the room next door - kept us up half the night with her screaming!! The room on the other side was occupied by what sounded like a bear sleeping, but turned out to be just a loud snorer.
This was by far one of the loudest hotels I have ever been too. If you need to get any sleep at all - this is not the place! Oh yeah - won't matter if you tell them you don't need a wake up call either - they apparently like to call rooms at 5:00am anyway to tell you WAKE UP!

Room Tip: Don't book any rooms here.

Stayed here one night recently. Arrived at IAH and called hotel for their compl. shuttle. Took 45mins for it to arrive, pretty slow given hotel is only a couple miles from the airport. Room was decent and beds were very comfortable. Not real clean though as we found crackers on the floor. Pool was also full of leaves and trash. Service was ok but not overly responsive. Price pd was excellent for what we got however, so that made the stay worth it.

I have stayed at this motel several times and LOVE it. Hard to find another motel that can compare to the quality and price of this one. I had a recent stay that lasted 21/2 months while obtaining a new home and it was a sad moment on the day I checked out. The staff is the best. Very warm and accommodating in all ways, treating you with respect and friendlyness beyond the call of duty. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend staying at this motel, unless you're a snob and think you have to pay tons of money!! High quality doesn't have to cost a fortune. Everything you need is close by. You will love it here!!Hope to see you there!!

My husband and I decided to stay at a hotel for a night, in celebration of our wedding anniversary, just to get out of the house. He remembered seeing this hotel being built and wanted to try it, so we made our reservations a week ago. We got here last night, checked in and the staff was very nice. The "lobby" and breakfast area is really small, but that doesn't really matter to us. Our room is VERY clean! The linens are fresh and clean, the carpet is clean and most of all....the bathroom is clean! Nothing I hate more than a nasty bathroom but no worries here! The shower curtain is a little stained, needs to be replaced soon, but I have seen much worse. The water pressure for the shower isn't that good but it does get nice and hot. We are about to check out but other than the water pressure in the shower and a few loud party people a couple of rooms down (the hotel can't help that some people are just idiots), we really enjoyed are stay here and we highly recommend it! Oh and although the bed and pillows were very comfortable for me, my husband hated the pillows so if you are a picky pillow person, bring your own! I took photos but my phone is acting up so just believe me when I say, this was a very clean and nice hotel to us.

This is not the Ritz but neither are the prices!!! What it IS is a very clean, very new, mid class hotel. To be honest I was not expecting much for the price we paid, but honestly it was a great value. Everything spic-and-span with shinny bathroom fixtures and the beds were comfortable as well. It was a quick 1 night stay, we did not even have their breakfast, but we would return if fate leads us that way again.
Staff was very friendly.
One thing to keep in mind, if you research availability on their website & then choose to call, they do not keep the same inventory. When checking online for NEXT day stay, I found a room with 2 queen beds, but when I called to the hotel directly, they stated they had only a room with 1 queen & sofa bed. I took the gamble and booked online and got the 2Q. I asked at check in and they told me it was separate inventory.

After a 10hour flight and 4 hours wait at the border control, I was happy to arrive at the hotel. The shuttle service is great :) and quick. The rooms are clean and nice. I really enjoyed my time here. When I come back to Houston and I need a stay near the airport I will choose this hotel.
It's also near a shopping mall and some restaurants. It's good price quality, it's isn't expensive and it's worth the value.

I stayed here with my family when we were dropping my in laws off at the airport for a flight. We stayed in an efficiency room with a kitchen. Hotel is new(there was still the shipping tape inside the fridge) and has nice contemporary decor. Clean room comfortable beds. Everything worked, nothing was broken. The hotel was exceptionaly quiet, no noise the entire night. Internet connection was strong and we were on the end of the building by the pool. Suprisingly the hot tub was open in January, this was really nice.

I would have given it 5 stars but for a few things. It is a motel not a hotel, as the doors face outside. This is of course not as safe as indoor entrances. Also I have never seen a hotel kitchenette that did not have pans in the least. This kitchenette is beautiful but had no pans, utensils or dishes, Just empty cupboards. The fabric shower curtain is already turning orange on the bottom. It clearly needs laundered. The parking is seriously lacking as we had to park at the other end of the hotel and walk. But all of these were minor and compaired to other hotels we have stayed this trip, this was just wonderful. And the price was good.

But our experience was actually really good at this hotel and I would definatly stay again and recommend it.

Room Tip: The efficiency room with the kitchen is great for people who have to stay in the area for a few days...
