The Westin Oaks, Galleria, Houston is superb. The staff is excellent in dealing with the clientele. The hotel is clean and has the Cheesecake Factory adjacent to it. Loved the design of the room and hotel amenities.

Our recent stay at this hotel was a great experience. The staff are very accommodating and ready to meet any need. We tried the in-room spa service and it was definitely worth it! Staying here can get a bit pricey, but since your inside the galleria mall you can offset your eating cost by dining in the food court or anyone if the malls any other restaurants.

The rooms are very cozy, are their "heavenly beds" definitely live up to their names. The heavenly shower was also a pleasant surprise, it gives you a great sense relief after a long day of shopping.

The only thing that I would say needs a little improvement is the indoor structure. The inside of the hotel is definitely starting to show some wear and tear.

I will definitely be staying there again and would recommend to friends and family.

Average hotel in a great location. No offer of upgrade, no concierge level. The check in girl was too busy trying to sell "green" -- opting out of housekeeping for a $5 voucher -- wow what a deal! The rooms are tired with sheets, albeit Heavenly, that are faded and thin

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with insight on your recent stay at the Westin Oaks. We regret the inconveniences you endured and that your experience was less than expected. You may be interested to know that as a primarily convention and meeting hotel we are limited with the number of suites we have to upgrade our Platinum members to; however we do strive in providing this complimentary service as often as we can. In regards to the Make a Green Choice program; we do offer enrollment to this program at check in and apologize for the disruption this caused in your stay. This program offers a quick way accumulate spg points while assisting in lowering our carbon footprint, thus we do try to make all our guests aware of the benefits of participating. Thank you for bringing the state of the sheets to our attention, I have notified our Director of Housekeeping so that we ensure the usage of the proper Heavenly sheets on our bed. Once again we apologize for the disruption in your stay and hope you will allow us the opportunity to mend your impression of our hotel in the future.

Didn't have a good experience in this hotel. The staff are earnest, but the hotel itself is in dire need of a overhaul. The rooms where below average, the washrooms where poor quality, the room settings where drab, and the air conditioning system noisy. The hotel feels old, and needs work.

Good place in the Galleria area...

Self Park is easy. Check in is a breeze.

No Club Level.

Little out dated, it's dark, brown... you need the lights on :)

attached to the galleria for shopping, walking or a bite to eat. Near some great shopping

Room Tip: get a room facing away from street... traffic noise... but dies down after midnight.

Hotel was very nice. But what really made me take to this hotel was the staff. There was one lady who really went out of her way to make me and my daughter feel very special. and her name is Sheila Miller, Because of your kindest I will be back, And once again thanks so much Sheila Miller

I was not impressed with this hotel. It looked like they had remodeled the hotel a few years back but they did not do a very good job. They had replaced all the carpet, added some paint and bought some new furniture but they did not update any of the doors and handles. The phones in the rooms were wireless phones that were about fifteen years old and did not function well. The beds were not bad but nothing to be impressed about. The room did not block out the street noise very well, but I was not able to hear anybody in the rooms next to me. There were wine/juice stains on the wall and what I hope was some sort of dark liquor stains on the bathroom wall.
The shower had been remodeled and was actually the best part of the room.
I don't think I would stay here again unless I had too.
