“Great customer service”

When I checked in, my HHonors status had gotten me an upgrade to a full suite. Because there was a large wedding party in the hotel, the clerk suggested I take a junior suite instead, since it's farther from the elevator. Of course, I accepted his advice. The room was great, and very quiet. Staff were all very friendly.

On the weekend I stayed, the rate was incredibly low, an excellent value. Parking wasn't great, since there were so many people around for an event, but I like a bit of a walk -- good exercise!

Next time I'm in Houston, I'd stay here again, if possible.

Stayed here in September. Booked the room on Hotwire, which promised a four-star luxury hotel in the Energy Corridor. This hotel certainly has a prime location around plenty of stores and restaurants, which made it easy to grab a bite to eat at night.

Some of the negatives, however: the hotel does not have complimentary internet access, which is arguably unacceptable nowadays. If I recall correctly, internet was an extra $12.95 per day. The hotel was also undergoing some construction, which took some of the building's elevators out of commission. Lastly, some of the hotel's patrons were having a little "fun" next door, and their profanity and actions were easy to hear through the paper-thin walls.

Stayed here for 1 week in October 2012. The room is comfortable and clean and was fine for a business trip. As others have mentioned the hotel is slightly dated but while there Hilton have started renovations to elevators and the Rio Ranch Bar. There was a note to apologise for any noise (which I did not hear) and to advise they were carrying out a million dollar renovation so can only presume they are updating the hotel, including the rooms.I had great food there and staff were very pleasant. Regardless of the upgrade to the hotel I would certainly look at booking this hotel again next time I am in Houston.

The staff here is extremely rude and seems to go out of their way to NOT be helpful. The room was ok but not what you'd expect for the price and that part of Houston has really gone downhill. The Homewood also by Hilton also right off westheimer would be a much better choice.

Common areas of hotel are tired, but room was both dirty and tired. Iron burn marks on the carpet. Missing parts in tub. Faucet in bathroom broken, sink would not drain. Water leak in room, called maintenance, not sure if they fixed. They placed a large fan in room to dry carpet. Fan was running when I came back to room prior to dinner. Called front desk and questioned them about it. They said they would have it fixed prior to me returning to the room for the evening. They did not remove the fan. It was still blowing when I returned, carpet still wet. No follow up from staff. They offered extra hhonors points, but shold have offered a new room when they were unable to remedy the situation in short order. Disappointed in this Hilton Hotel.

This is a nice hotel, but a little dated in places. The rooms are fine, with a comfy bed, but small bathrooms. Breakfastis of the of the buffet style, but with good service. Meals in are very big portions but really nice. The chicken wings starter was very tasty, but no appetiser should come in a bucket. The front desk staff was really helpful and friendly. Even given the fearsome Texas heat, the air con was more than up to the job.
