“Everything was great at this Hotel !!!”

It was our first visit to this hotel. The staff is great, they have a great sense of what Customer Focus is. The rooms are big and clean with excellent views. The swimming pool area invites you to spend the whole day there.
The Hotel is about 2 miles from the Galleria Mall and it provides an efficient free shuttle.
The Lobby is fantastic, a great place to have a good conversation and a good drink too.

This was booked as part of a relocation but the rate was the same as any other Houston hotel I have stayed in. Could have been the hot June rate but a deal none the less.
Surprisingly, the Omni is one of the only Galleria area hotels that accepts pets. Only a $50 fee, much more elsewhere. They have a 'Pet in Room' door hanger so your beloved family member doesn't get the chance to scamper off when the room is serviced.
Valet staff were so helpful and polite every time I saw them. They hold door the open as well and welcome you back. Parking was nearby and very convenient. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and at night, they offer free flutes of champagne. Even housekeeping asked about how the our pet was doing.
We hung out at the bar for the World cup game and had reasonably priced beers. Offered a snack mix with the second round.
The pool was nice and refreshing. Large towels, comfortable loungers and nice place to relax. Coolers of water are provided and a bar opens later in the day.
The room was well equipped. A bit too much bedding in June but okay. Comfy pillows, nicely appointed furniture, well stocked bathroom on towels and extras. the television didn't scream at us when turned on, the volume level was just right. Our coffee pot had a snafu but again minor. We were on the 10th floor and never seemed to wait more than a minute for one of the four elevators.
Having stayed at just about every other Galleria area hotel, I will always select and recommend the Omni over the others.

Located a short drive from downtown attractions it was one of the nicer hotels I have stayed at.Staff was very friendly and helpful at always greeted you with a smile.Found the breakfast a little pricey for a standard buffet but that would be my only complaint.Rooms were big the beds comfortable. Also has a very nice pool area.

Stayed here during a friend's wedding weekend and I couldn't have been more satisfied. I believe we got a group rate but it might have been the best $119 per night I could have spent.
The location was just fine, just near the Galleria-the upscale shopping and dining area of Houston-to which they provide a shuttle. Although, location has no bearing on the quality of stay. I'll just describe the stay:
We arrived and were greeted by the friendliest and most polite valet service I have seen. Not only did they satisfy the expected responsibilities of a valet but they went beyond that, providing suggestions about ideal pool hours and the must haves at the lobby breakfast buffet. At check in, we were given a glass of champagne as a bellman delivered our luggage to our room without any direction or suggestion. The rooms offer flat screen televisions, comfortable beds, and marble bathrooms with two walls covered in mirrors. There is a telephone by the toilet.
There is a spa, substantial exercise room, and a pool area. The pool area has, count 'em, two pools, four cabanas (with massage tables), significant seating and lounging, and a bar/grill for pool side cocktails and meals. We were at the pool on a saturday afternoon between 1 and 4 and it was plenty filled with pretty women. I recommend going even if you don't stay there.
In addition to the lobby restaurants and bar, there is a nightclub in the lower lobby called the Black Swan. Only open on Friday and Saturday, a d.j. plays a good combination of current pop hits and past successes - everything from K$sha to Michael Jackson and it plays. And unlike other hotel and motel bars, the Black Swan is an attraction.
We ended up spending about double our room rate on cocktails, meals and parking but looking back, I can say it was well worth the price. I will stay at the Omni again hen I get back.

I stayed here on business so I didn't get to experience as much as u wanted. A few things stood out though:

when I woke up at 6 to use the gym, the lobby had club music blasting in the lobby.

There was no shampoo in my room.

Other than that it was just fine.

Had a fantastic stay at the Omni. Particularly loved the comfortable bed, attentive staff and the outdoor pool area. The location is fantastic, very easy to get in and out. The room had a big, flat-screen TV, which was great - although the signal reception was a little bit poor so having such a good TV with that signal is a bit of a waste. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who can afford to stay there. It's not the cheapest option in the area, but I'll be booking into the Omni again on my next trip.

This hotel compares favorably to the Four Seasons and the St. Regis. Consistently excellent service, very high quality bedding and food service. It is hard to believe this is available at $129 for a weekend rate. Join the frequent guest plan and get free internet and free coffee to your room. Those alone are worth $30 at the Four Seasons.
