I spent a week here, shopping and resting, while my daughter worked nearby. The staff can't do enough for you and, yes, the door man is excellent. The pool service was great. Just a totally brilliant hotel.

Room Tip: The little shopping plazas are just as good as the big shopping mall. Take the courtesy bus to the m...

We spent the 4th of July at this beautiful property. The hotel front desk staff & bell staff were wonderful very professional and courteous. We loved the Champagne at check-in!

We had a room facing the city so we could see the fireworks show which was great!

Our only issue is on the 4th of July the pool bar was closed & the limited staff pretty much ignored you unless you ran them down to get a drink! We tried getting drinks at the bar but they ran out of plastic cups (no glass allowed at the pool).

Both of our rooms were beautiful, spacious & comfy! Plus hotel is in walking distance to Memorial Park which is a wonderful place to exercise.

Would definitely recommend this for a couples weekend!

Thank you for your feedback regarding our hotel. We are happy to hear your accommodations and the fantastic views of the city made your stay extra special during the 4th of July Holiday. The pool bar is open Friday through Sunday. During the week, we do offer our Noe Lounge which opens at 4:00 pm daily. Since the 4th of July fell on a Wednesday we should have opened the bar. It was an oversight and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.

Super special service from the moment we walked in the door...our daughter was under the weather, front deskman David Tortora (totally rocks!) sent up milk and cookies stat. Dinner at Noe was great, traffic was so slow that night (probably due to bad weather) that we felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves.
Room was upscale nice, would do well for either business or pleasure travel, with large sitting/desk area, gorgeous view of pool and lush grounds. Love the swans.
Only downers: valet charge for the car was a bit steep at $26, and room service bill was loaded with all number of charges (2 types of delivery charge??), just watch it.

Room Tip: great view from 721

After reading the reviews i thought this would be a great place to take my wife for an anniversary stay-Cation. I was expecting this place to be nicer. You can tell its an older property that really hasn't been taken care of the way it could be.- From the rusty fences by the pool to the mold/ algea growing on the walls. The room was meh. Bathroom was like a bathroom in a Super 8 and the bed really wasn't that comfy. The rest of the room was fine, but nothing special. I was very frustrated on our last morning there, the room had no hot water!!! I called to desk and they had the problem fixed with 15 minutes, but how does that happen?
Service overall was good, but for the money it really wasn't what it should be. Stay at Zaza, better rooms and better kept property.

We had a little getaway in Houston and stayed at the Omni Hotel on 4 Riverway. The rooms were very clean and well updated. What you'd expect from for a 4 star hotel. Rooms are fully stocked with a mini bar & snack tray for the guests convenience. The staff was very friendly and available. They welcomed us and with nice gift bags for the kids and the unloaded our luggage for us when we got to the room.
After we left, I realized that I had forgotten my dress in our hotel room and after calling them, they were able to ship it by FedEx and I got it two days later.
The only cons for us was the packing. It's expensive to Valet or pay for paid packing. The free packing is way in the back and a bit inconveniencing. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very professional and courteous. We were always greeted with someone opening the door as we came and went. My kids loved the little souvenir backpacks full of goodies. I wouldn't recommend staying with small children on Friday and Saturday nights because there's drunk people everywhere and there was a couple "being nasty" in the pool. I also think charging $10/day for wifi use is a rip when you're paying $150+ per night to stay there. But other than the wifi issue and the obscenity at the pool I have no complaints and would definitely stay again. We probably just won't be bringing the kids next time.

Thanks for the flattering comments about our staff, we take customer service very seriously. Sorry for the innappropriate conduct at the pool, we do not condone this behavior. Please consider joining our Select Guest program (free to join, incredible perks, very little solicitation) where the WIFI is free everywhere in the hotel. Hope to see you again soon.
