This Omni is truly a first rate property. The rooms are huge and the beds extremely comfortable .Everthing we asked for in our reservation was provided. The staff and service are 5 star. The grounds around the property are beautiful and the Houston Post Oak area is outstanding with lots of great restaurants and shopping. We especially enjoyed the 2 pools and pool bar. Very relaxing with great drinks and atmosphere. My only suggestion would be for them to pipe in some music for subathing and relaxing by the pool. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas and the towels and ice water cooler are a very nice touch. I wish our stay could have been longer because I highly recommend the Omni to any one, and we will back again for a longer holiday weekend next time.

Stayed 5 nights at the Omni near the Galleria. The rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. I absoultely LOVE the bed, it was by far the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The staff is courteous, helpful and pleasant. They offer valet parking($26) a night or self park ($16) . Two large pools, complete with passing black swans...wonderful stay, I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Houston.

I've been staying here for 30 years and over this time, the property has been maintained & refurbished well; it is a delightful oasis with a great location. The one disapponintment this trip was the restaurant Noe, billed on the website as Japanese influenced cuisine. This is outdated as the menu and focus has changed. Otherwise, amenities during our stay were as advertised and we could not beat the price. Very good value; will certainly return.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the lovely pool and lake.

Thank you for letting us know about your stay. We have updated the website to reflect "Progressive American Cuisine" to more accurately reflect Noe. We hope you are able to visit us again when you return to Houston!

This is a great place for a relaxing pool weekend. They have a Great set of 2 pools, and the hotel, although in the Houston Galeria area, is tucked away from all the traffic and noise. Parking can be expensive, but they do have a self-park option thats no more than a 5 minute walk away.

Room Tip: Try Priceline.. It works!

Thank you for your review of the hotel! The pools can be a lifesaver during the summer heat here in Texas, and spending a day beside it is nice and relaxing due to our location being a few blocks in off any main road. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your time with us, and we hope you'll stop by again.

This hotel really is well run, the check in staff are friendly and efficient, offering a class of champagne as you check in. The rooms are large and the beds very comfy. The public rooms are well furnished. The pool area is stunning and the two pools are clean and well tended. The free transport is good within 3 miles, however the driver demands a tip saying this bus runs on gratuities when he drops you back at the hotel, is this official policy?

Room Tip: Get as high a floor as possible
