FIRST IMPRESSIONS LAST: This is an older-style motel in a mostly-barren neighborhood adjoining airport-related properties. There were very few cars in the parking lot. The website claim of "new construction" certainly had nothing to do with either of the rooms we had. The deadbolt of the first room we had would not engage. Our request for a replacement was initially dismissed, but after persistence the front desk agreed to send someone to verify the problem. Once verified, we were assured that no one could get in. Nevertheless we insisted on another room, and, after some hesitance on the part of the front desk clerk, were provided one. The deadbolt worked, but the swinging bar guard on the door was out of alignment, so we placed a lamp and our luggage in front of the door as an extra measure of security. No blankets on the bed, just a sheet and a stained bedspread. During a nighttime trip to the bathroom I scraped my arm on the sharp-edged clothing hook mounted halfway up the door. The shower curtain didn't reach the bottom of the handicap-access shower so water spreading across the bathroom floor should have been no surprise. There were coffee accessories in the bathroom, but no coffee maker. I was never so pleased to leave a room as I was at this check out!
