When going back to Honduras through Houston one must always spend a night in Houston as flight only leaves in the am (at least in my experience). I found this hotel ver convenient as it is right in the airport (you can ride the airport train train to it). The young lady at reception was extremely friendly and helpful. They have a check in pc for your flight. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. Pillows were also great. I order in for dinner, had the blt which was not that great. On the downside you have to pay for wifi ($14) and for 1 bottled water ($3.50), which seems to me should be included for the price you are paying already for the hotel. I do recommend it though.
Positive: proximity to airport; convenience; bed.
Negative: a bit high price + additional prices for water and internet.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Vancouver and throughly enjoyed it. First it is a beautiful hotel. The staff is very efficient and very friendly from the checkin to the checkout they are there to make your stay very comfortable. We left our truck for the two weeks weeks we were gone and the young men took very good care of it. We stayed again on our way back home and the same efficient and friendly service. I must say the food is outstanding also and the service fast and friendly. The only complaint I have and it was quickly taken care of was when we landed at the airport I called the hotel and was told to take the rail to the hotel I told them that we needed the shuttle because we had four large bags and two smell ones. After several phone calls they finally sent the shuttle to pick us up. The hotel immediately compensated us for out trouble which we appreciated very much. I only wish we could have spent more time at this hotel to enjoy more of the services they have to offer. One more thing, the beds are incredible you do not want to get out of them. The rooms are beautiful and the bath very nice. Can't wait to go back.

When we were unable to make our connecting flight at Bush Intercontinental Airport, we stayed at the Houston Marriott. It's connected to the airport complex via a subway on the lower level -- one floor below baggage claim. Since we were flying out the next morning, it was a perfect solution for getting a good night's rest from our flight from London-Heathrow. The hotel staff was very gracious and accommodating. The room was clean, large and modernized. The room rate was excellent, but the variety of state, city and airport taxes was not. Would certainly recommend for short stay like ours, however.

This airport Marriott wins in a lot of areas. First, it's the closest airport to the airport. Secondly, the recent renovation made the rooms very nice. Specifically, a very comfortable bed, great TV and a clean room. Third, the personal service was very good. We were returning from a very long international trip and had an overnight in Houston. They collected us and our bags curbside and delivered us and all of our bags quickly and easily and dropped us off in the same way. That was priceless. My only suggestion is they MUST ditch the hospital bed type table that substitutes for a desk. Major fail on that from a design and functionality perspective. Change that out immediately! Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel. Plus, $22 for a small breakfast buffet is priced to high. But, a coffee-maker in the room was nice.

We came after a flight that had been delayed 2 1/2 hours. At 10:30 PM our family was ready to find a hotel where we could rest and, eventually, get a bite to eat.

After making a reservation on-line, we proceeded to the front desk where Andrea greeted us with a smile. She saw the meal vouchers that we had from the airline and informed us that we could use them at the hotel restaurant. There are not words for what a weight that small phrase from Andrea lifted off of our shoulders!
We checked in, had a nice meal and went upstairs to bed. It was the best sleep we’d all gotten in the past two weeks – the bed was SO comfortable! And the room had obviously been recently renovated.
