I stopped here for dinner and a couple of beers while I was in Houston for business.
The place isn't huge, and is a little dark, but I liked it quite a bit.
They have a great beer selection. It's not huge, but they have around 30-40 beers on tap. They seem reasonably priced. Many of the pints are in the $4-$6 range, although some of the higher ABV beers are a bit more expensive.
I had a burger for dinner and thought it was very good. They had a number of other things on their menu that I would really like to try if I happen to be in the area again, including a meatloaf sandwich w/ bacon and a french onion soup grilled cheese (that includes carmelized onions).
The bartenders were ok. One was quite friendly, while another was just so-so. It seems to be a neighborhood bar, so they may be friendlier to the locals.
Others have complained about waiting for the food, but I thought my burger came out in a very reasonable amount of time. (Of course, this was a Monday night. I'm assuming it would be worse on a weekend.)
