Sara's is a very comfortable, well maintained, and beautiful Inn in the Heights neighborhood of Houston, which is a pretty convenient place to be in Houston. (Houston is a vast city so it's not really possible for one place to be near everything, but this place was pretty good).
The Inn was beautifully maintained and clean, with charming rooms, and hallways. The check-in process was easy, as was check out. In the morning they have a delicious breakfast of biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, cereal, toast, etc. (Some of those things might be for the weekend only, but it was always good.) They even have brownies you can snack on any time.
The rooms weren't huge, but that didn't really bother us (they were VERY well kept). Some people might want a big downtown-type hotel with more amenities, but if you want a charming place to stay for a few nights that is convenient and not overpriced, this is the place.
Oh, and the woman preparing breakfast in the morning is charming and very interesting to talk to. She's unassuming, but if you have a chance, talk to her for a few minutes because she is great.
Overall, I highly recommend this place.
