This restaurant is located in the galleria mall. The prices are fairly reasonable with items in many price ranges. The service is always very good with very knowledgable waiters. Never had a bad meal here.

During a trip through The Galleria we spotted Oceanaire and decided seafood for lunch would be great and we had never dined here before.

Very pleased with menu, service, food and price. Lunch selections were large and we chose a crab cake melt and a Cobb salad with shrimp and scallops. The crab cake was a play on a tuna melt. Topped with gruyere the crab had little cake! Almost all crab...fantastic. The salad was enormous and shrimp and scallops were grilled to perfection.

I have saved the best part for last. Appetizer. Oysters Rockefeller! Only 5 though which was odd but perfectly sautéed spinach and I'm not sure but I think they used ham or Canadian bacon in lieu of traditional bacon. Very Good.

Large selection of oysters from different areas priced around $2.60. No sea bass on menu. Traditional beer selection and large wine selection.

Great service by our waiter George. Attentive with a good sense of humor.

A definite repeater. Located next to the valet drop and Del Frisco's.

Great look, bad execution. For tourists staying at nearby hotels, it's a convenient place to reach for seafood, steak and fish. But, local Houstonians have so many other choices to find much better food and service. We are locals who dine out often at some of Houston's best restaurants. We arrived for a birthday celebration with six people. We were escorted to our table upstairs. Big mistake! If they take you upstairs, you'll miss the light, energy, sounds, and feel of a vibrant restaurant. Upstairs was dark, unappealing, and disappointing. There were other guests upstairs, but I felt like we were all in the attic. The service was fair. It took a manager and a waiter to keep up the pace of good service...and we weren't demanding. Lobster, salmon, side dishes were all prepared well, but there wasn't anything outstanding about it. Sauces masked flavors and the dark room masked the view of the food. Dessert was served elegantly and we enjoyed it very much. I was eager to leave. Finally downstairs and on our way out, I was able to see the restaurant and some of the activity we missed upstairs. Bottom line, if you're a visitor, give it a try. It's close to your hotel and you won't feel lost in the big city. If you're a Houstonian, for goodness sakes, go somewhere else.

Top shelf in every respect including price. Great food. Very fresh. Terrific whisky selection. Also impressive array of cognac and wines. Impeccable service. Creative menu. Nice location. Sometimes you actually do get what you pay for.
