“A must see”
Reviewed February 12, 2014 via mobile

You cant visit houston and not go to the space centre. It was well worth the visit. It was very informative but also fun. Make sure you do the tram ride to see the control centre and the rocket. Theres a massive food court there catering to all food types. The staff are really helpful and have a lot of knowledge about nasa. As a person that doesn't drive I relied on public transport and it it still easily accessible. Just dont miss your last bus back at 5 though.

“Out of This World Experience”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

I loved it. I came to Houston just for it. I took the "VIP Level 9 Tour." Worth every cent. We got taken to many building at the Space Center, and met several of the engineers working there. We ate lunch at the staff cafe, and got to mingle with the NASA people. Saw lots of hardware in development, inflatable modules, Buoyancy Lab (Underwater Training Facility), the T-38 hangar (an astronaut was going for a test flight while we were there). Saw the Apollo MCC and the Vacuum Chamber. Amazing stuff. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

“Must See!”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

If you go to Houston, this should be the first thing you see. Tour the working NASA facility, see the original instruments used for the Apollo missions (Houston, we have a problem!) and then go to the center to hear talks from real astronauts, learn some about science and look at artifacts and displays. We only allowed 3 hours, and were sad we couldn't stay more.

Well organised tour that is very informative. Great to visit the control room for the Apollo missions and check out a range of space vehicles and simulators.

“A must if your in the area”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

We arrived at the space centre at 12 noon on a day that it closed at 7pm thinking we had plenty of time, we were wrong. Last January we went to the Kennedy space centre and spent about the same amount of times so we thought it would be on a much smaller scale and need less time. We could not have been more wrong. This space centre is every bit as good as the Kennedy space centre and it held my 6 year olds attention all day long. When you go out to rocket park and see the space shuttle, it is just mind boggling.
