“Pretty cool”

It was my first time there.
Great place to take people from out of town when they come to visit.
Has historical and educational value. $20 to get in. You can hit all the main attractions in 1 day visit.

“Totally overrated!”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

I had my heart set on this visit and even drove from Dallas to Houston to visit this place, along with an overnight stay in Houston. No free parking space was present where it costs 6 USD to use the parking lot. The entrance fee was way too high for what was offered here. Sure, the tram tour was not bad at all where you got to visit misson control and the saturn 5 which was so boxed in that one could hardly take a descent picture of it. Luckely and as a major highlight of this visit, there was a retired engineer present at the Saturn 5 hangar who kindly offered his assistance and great stories to all along a very interesting tour through the Apollo program.
The rest, that had more to do with an amusement park then with a thorough acquaintance with space and space travel. Kids will love this place, provided they carry a lot of pocket money, yet for myself as an adult and a space addict, I was left behind with an empty feeling in heart and stomach along with an empty wallet.
Oh yeah, the life size (wood and cardboard?) space shutlle up front was only a poor replica of what Nasa truly sent into space.

“I have never been so disapointed”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

Understand that I am the kid who sat up all night watching the TV from the moon while Armstrong slept, only because it came from the moon. They have turned the Space Center into an amusement park, complete with rides, cotton candy, etc. The few displays are poorly curated. The trolly tour is worthwhile, since you can see Mission Control, and the Saturn 5, both of which made me sad, since we are not doing that any more. $6 to park, and about $30 thru the door made an expensive and very sad day.
