Loved all the activities for the kids like the Angry Birds playscape and the lego section. The tram tour was a little boring for my 9 year old until we got to the International Space Station mock up. The simulator was great and worth the extra money. Buy your tickets online for a discount. Also if you are there for a few days check out the city pass for big discounts.

Extremely enjoyed touring the Johnson space center, definitely worth going just for this. Actual museum is a bit phony.

the only interesting part is the tram tour that takes you to the control center and to see the Saturn spaceship. Otherwise, all other attractions are for kids. Not worth it if you're over 12.

The mistake we made was coming here around 3pm, and then letting our 6 y/o Grandson distract us before we could make it to the last shuttle for the JSC Tour. This place has basically become a movie theater, with some jungle gym attractions, plus a few museum pieces...and they charge Disneyland level prices. On top of that, they have the nerve to charge extra for any of the motion rides that kids would actually consider fun. Stay away...take your kids 15 minutes further down NASA Road 1 to the Kemah boardwalk and they'll be thankful. Our family paid $110 for a movie and jungle gym romp.

Great tours of the space center. If you have an engineer in your family, this will be the dream garage for them. There are 2 tours, the red and the blue. One takes you to see the rocket & work areas. The other takes you to the control center. If you only have time for one, go to the control center.
