The Hotel ZaZa in Houston, Texas is my first choice among all the hotels in Houston. Of the ZaZa Hotel collection, Hotel ZaZa Museum District is the largest. Tastefully decorated, with elegance and simplicity, it is an absolute gem!

The hotel is immaculately clean. Measurable precautious are quietly implemented throughout the hotel to keep guests and staff safe from COVID 19. The hotel staff provided pristine customer service.

The beauty of this location is it offers something for everybody. Located in the heart of Houston’s Museum District, Hotel ZaZa is literally a short pleasant walk to Houston’s finest museums, completely eliminating the hassle of museum parking. It is also within walking distance to Hermann Park, Rice University, and the Houston Zoo. If you prefer to drive, you will love the fast, convenient in and out, Valet parking offered at the main entrance of the hotel, for a mere $20.00 per day.

Another outstanding feature of this hotel is relief from the heat! The pool area is stunning, perfect for a quick dip or spending the day being pampered by the pool. When you are done with the sun, plentiful air conditioning, paramount in Houston, awaits you throughout the hotel.

Hotel ZaZa Houston Museum District, a modern and beautiful property gets an A+ in all categories from me! Excellent hotel, reasonably priced, convenient location, and customer service extraordinaire!

Room tip: Overlooking the pool area or Hermann Park with a balcony

I booked a room for my family (including my 4 year old and 12 year old sons). Our plan was to visit museums, chill by the pool and order room service; we wanted some place relaxing. I purposefully did not book one of those big hotels because I did not want loud crowds. It is advertised as "boutique" but it is far from it. The place is huge. The pool was crowded with tons of drunk people and the dj was so loud you couldn't hear anyone talk. When we went to the nearby park, you could here the Zaza pool party blocks away. Also, why is there a dj? I guess if that's the kind of hotel you are running, then okay. I almost splurged on a poolside room and I'm so glad I didn't. It would have been inhabitable. I also checked before I booked to make sure that they don't allow outside guests at the pool, but it was clear this was a party hotel. As we were walking up, some guy stumbled out of the front doors and down the stairs and the valet guy had to pick him up. As we were checking out, I heard a group of women saying "What happens at Zaza, stays at Zaza." So, it's that kind of hotel. Anyway, this was just not my scene and I feel people should know before booking this hotel. The staff were really nice and tried to help. The manager even opened the pool early the next day so my 4 year old could swim in the morning. But while the whole experience wasn't the fault of the staff, I will never stay at a Hotel Zaza again, with or without kids. I prefer to relax when traveling.

cindysO5709PH,

I apologize that the hotel wasn't the right fit. Memorial day weekend is definitely a time where a lot of our guests like to relax and have fun at the pool. We like to add different fun elements during the holidays like free hot dogs, bomb pops and etc. The DJ was something that we did only for that particular weekend. Please feel free to contact me. I would love a chance to speak to you about your exprienece.

We have found our second home in Houston! This boutique hotel is awesome! even before we travelled into the city, the concierge was already contacting me to ask how can they make our stay memorable and special. We just had one particular request to put us on the highest floor with the view of the west side of the property. Although they placed us on the 6th floor, our view was nonetheless special and each night we see the sunset over the horizon. They even had a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate-covered strawberries to welcome us! Nice touch! We also noticed how the hotel is decorated with unusual decor but tastefully picked for their guests. The room bar and fridge was fully stocked as well, which we don't ever see it anymore in other cookie-cutter hotels. The valet and housekeeping was extremely warm, courteous and clearly have excellent service oriented. The bar and restaurant staff was also commendable and they make every effort to fulfill your requests. The hotel was also perfectly situated in the museum district which we are interested in visiting. My husband and I had a great time and memorable stay! We would definitely go back and stay again while in Houston and will also look for their property in other cities in Texas! Thank you Hotel ZaZa Museum District you did not disappoint and we look forward in staying with you again in the future! Highly highly recommended!

Room tip: Rooms facing the west side of the hotel offers great sunset viewws and greenery!

Beautiful decor. Very clean, staff was beyond amazingly helpful and friendly. Only drawbacks were poor internet, no tv access for family shows for younger family members. Restaurant and room service food offerings were all the same and quite limited. That was a draw back with no options close by.

My family has been staying at Hotel ZaZa Museum District for 4 years. We found it while touring Rice University for our youngest daughter and the beauty caught our eye! Every time we stay the service is AMAZING. From check-in (which once you become a ZIP member is as easy as walking over to the counter and picking up your room cards that are ready before you get there, to room service (yumm!), to the valet which has your car ready incredibly quick. Valet in particular is always so friendly and helpful. The lobby is loaded with photo opps and the design, floor by floor, is truly one-of-a-kind. HIGHLY recommend.

Room tip: I love the balcony view!
