I have seen it many times, but have no idea what the appeal is or is supposed to be. An urban gimmick and a place at which some people deign to be photographed. You'll see it en route to the Galleria.

Houston is one big and busy city and this water wall serve as a place to those who wants to ease their mind. I got the chance to visit it one summer after me and my friends got tired driving around. It was okay, not that mind blowing attraction. It's an interesting structure but the longer you stay, its charm is fading.

The water wall is actually a park named Hines Waterwall Park located in Houston (uptown) near the galleria mall. The park is very small, about 3 acres surrounded by oak trees and a small green. The Water wall is pretty cool, interesting structure if you’re into architecture.

Photographs will give you an idea of the wall, but imagine a long semi-circular towering structure pouring gushing water with a cool mist flowing in the air on a hot summer day in Texas--- worth checking it out if you’re in the area.

I helped my friends shooting some wedding photos here at early morning around 9am. Just few visitors and they are nice and let us shoot without getting into the frame. We have read warns of no professional shooting in the property as it's a private property. But guess without a tripod in other's way, you will definitely be fine. Would suggest to take photos here around 10:30 am when there are enough and not too much sunshine. The water fall just looked fantastic under warm light.

Great place to spend a evening with family and kids. Very close to Galleria mall so you can park the vehicle there and walk to water wall. There is also parking close by to this place if you prefer not to walk.
