We eat lunch and/or dinner here on average about once a month. If out-of-town friends are looking for some different cuisine, we bring them to Caspian. Food and service are excellent. You can watch the rolling and kneading of the bread before it goes in the oven. Hot bread is served with herbs, feta cheese, radish, and onion. Sometimes we order the hummus with it. This neighborhood restaurant has been in Houston for quite some time. My favorite is the lamb shank, and I avoid ordering lamb, except at Persian restaurants that really know how to cook it. This Valentine's celebration was perfect with a quiet family atmosphere. No silly frills. Just really good food.
