“Free art”

A great little urban garden with spectacular art. Across from the MFAH and the Contemporary Art Museum. Good place for a picnic or a rest.

“There Really is Art Outdoors in Houston”
Reviewed May 21, 2012

This is a fine oasis of serious art that simply needs to be outdoors. A stroll in here takes you away from the city and into itself, which of course it was designed to do. Outstanding selection of works that begs for quiet contemplation. And if you get too hot, the nice air conditioned museum is across the street. Perfect!

“A Pocket of Art & Beauty”
Reviewed March 17, 2012

We visited this place with our two young kids after reading reviews in this site. It's well worth a visit. If I were working in the city, I can certainly see this place being an escape from the stresses of work. It is peaceful and quiet and you are surrounded by pieces of beauty and art. There isn't much for little kids to do, so I would suggest that you pass by this garden after a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts or some other place downtown.
