This restaurant is open only for breakfast and lunch:
BREAKFAST: All of the normal breakfast items are available, as are so many unique dishes. The restaurant is owned and operated by a family (father, mother and daughter). They prepare special dishes and display them on a table as one enters. A recent sample was a zuccini omelet, greek omelet, thick waffle with blueberries & nuts, etc etc. It is ALL GOOD!!! The orange is fresh squeezed in front of you.
LUNCH: Lunch is a steamtable style with the food prepared daily with fresh vegetables that the owners say came that morning from the farmer's market. Sometimes I get the vegetable plate, which is 3 veggies of choice with rolls, or one of many meat & fish entress. The Basa (sp?) is grilled in front of you and of so good! Don't pass up the homemade desserts, including the hugh slice of baklava that feeds two people.
This is a mom & pop restaurant with high standards. It is worth a trip on any morning or lunch excursion. On weekends, there might be a line out the door since it is so popular. Nevertheless, the quality is always excellent. Also, there is a private dining rom that the owners let use use at no charge if you have a meeting gathering. Wehave been trying to get them to open for dinner, but since they work 7 days a week at early hours and lunch, maybe that's too much. PLus, the owner always makes his way around the tables talking with the guests. We like that.
