“Elegant and fun”

We ate here to celebrate our son and his wife's anniversary. Everything was very good and the service was excellent. The desserts are to die for...highly recommend the chocolate cake.

“Don't be fooled by the outside”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

My husband and I ate at this well know establishment in Houston TX on 7/20/13. I ordered the linguine with clams and my husband ordered the salad. The salad was just OK and the service was OK. The linguine however ( this is after all an Italian restaurant) was just terrible. My bad for not letting the manager know immediately. I stayed silent and ate what I could of my plate which contained claims that had not opened during the cooking process, so they were broken open with the shell bits left in the pasta. There also seemed to be 'kitchen debris' in the form of a partial cracker wrapper and some unidentified green bits. Again, I take responsibility for not letting management take a look at what came out of the kitchen. I don't know who wrote the other reviews, perhaps the kitchens staff and their family members.

Wonderful time with great food. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the snapper siciliano which was superb. W they also have a very nice wine list and we had a fabulous Pinot from the Russian River in California.

“the bread is so good it is hard not to spoil your appetite”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

This place has it together-the food is scrumptious and the service is impeccable. The aforementioned bread melts in the mouth. Everything is good. The catering department is delightful, very hands on and wonderful service there in one of their private dining rooms. I barely put my tea down before it was topped off. The tomato basil soup was special but everything is so satisfying--the cake looked incredible--huge portions orf rich chocolate-I gained weight just looking at it..Highly recommend-a very nice and fun atmosphere-definitely a wonderful experience. Beyond yummy.
