We have been there many time and it is always good no matter what we order. We avoid peak times. I prefer the fried seafood, although the grilled is very good too

Start your meal with the Campechana. It's a shrimp ( or crab/ or both) cocktailwith tomatoes and avacado. Have it a s a meal or share it as an appetizer. Their mesquite grill platters or sandwiches are to die for.

Great selection. the grilled shrimp po-boy is my favorite. Have never had a bad meal there.
Jim Goode should be in the restaurant Hall of Fame. Hopefully his kids won't screw it up.

Goode's Seafood is among the best seafood restaurants in Houston. Excellent, plentiful food at a reasonable price. Try the mixed (shrimp and crab) Campechana (addictive appetizer) and the delicious grilled Trout Almondine -- both are enough to be shared by two, unless you are a big eater.
We prefer the one on Westpark Drive near Kirby -- more informal atmosphere; the converted railcar section is rather unique. On weekends, expect a wait at peak times.

Friendly servers and terrific choices of fresh seafood - both mild tasting fish and darker, more flavorful. Get there early, though - it's very popular. I eat there every trip.
