“Best deli south of the Mason-Dixon line!”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

Where to start? Portions are huge.... The smoked fish, boiled flanken in the pot, also the tongues of fun (beef tongue, turkey and corned beef) sandwich with a Side of sweet potato fries... And if you have room for desert try the hungarian strudel a la mode... Menu's gigantic so don't worry if you're undecided, you'll definitely come back for more (or more than the same)!

“Great food, NY style”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

I love the deli, a wide range of food choices that you can't decide which to pick, all of it are simply great! The Matzah ball, a jewish dish is interestingly tasty.

“Best Deli in Houston”
Reviewed March 30, 2014 via mobile

As a New Yorker, I have eaten in many delis, and this is the best in Houston. I have eaten here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner numerous times and have also taken out. Lunch time tends to be the most popular and crowded. Sandwiches and fries are excellent, and don't miss the matzo ball soup. Corned beef hash for breakfast is a winner.

“Good NY Style Deli”
Reviewed March 28, 2014

They have the best Apple pie. It doesn't taste really sweet and it doesn't have that goey syrup filling. Their lox were a bit too salty. I would go back.
