This restaurant has been around for 30+ years and serves typical tex-mex dishes. While I enjoy tex-mex food, for me it only comes in two categories; unacceptable and acceptable. Los Tios is acceptable. The differences in the many choices we have for tex-mex restaurants is in the service and atmosphere. The service on this particular visit was outstanding, prompting us in this Christmas season to leave a tip essentially equal to our luncheon bill. Unfortunately, this location is in a strip-center with limited parking, and the ambiance could be described as a 70s attempt to recreate a feeling of Mexico with dark wood furniture and dim lighting; a little depressing. This particular location is in an area where the demographics lean towards seniors.
