Besides the fact it was too crowded (Thursday early evening) and too noisy, I found the food very bland and salty. I would not choose to dine here.

Work event - had private room in back with about 30 people. Please is large and open with tables scattered throughout.

Our dinner included: Buffet laid out of bacon-wrapped stuffed shrimp, marinated chicken, steak, sausages, tortillas, beans, rice, salad, etc. with all the condiments. Excellent food. Margaritas were too sweet, but maybe folks like them that way. Chips were ok. But the guacamole and crab appetizers were amazing! To me, the best part of the experience. The service is excellent. I would go back - at least just to have that guac./crab appetizer.

If you are in the mood for great Tex-Mex while visiting Houston try one of the Pappasitos Cantinas. The food is great, margaritas are delicious. Prepare to wait a few minutes for a table, enjoy chips and salsa while you do. Must visit in the Houston area.

We were in town for the Denver vs Houston game and wanted to try some Tex Mex. Someone from our hometown had suggested it. It was very busy but our wait was maybe 30 minutes. Our party of four was seated at a table but felt the table was pretty small especially once all of our meals and drinks were delivered. Was very crowded and loud. Most of the patrons were from the earlier game. Once seated they bring you chips and salsa. To me the salsa wasn't great but it was ok. There were two types of salsa, one was your usual salsa and the other I think was made with jalapenos? It was better than the traditional salsa. We also ordered a bowl of queso but it really tasted like velveeta. Our meals were good though. We had fish tacos, beef and chicken fajitas, and grilled shrimp. The waitstaff was prompt and we never had to ask for refills or anything. Would probably try this place again if ever back in Houston.

There are so many Tex Mex restaurants in this city that it is impossible to choose. As you can imagine the price ranges are massive. This is not the cheapest place but ahhh we just can't resist.
It s a very large restaurant so you rarely have to wait. As such it is quite noisy. Not the place for a quiet romantic dinner.
As soon as you arrive chips and salsa are placed on your table and you can gorge to your hearts desire. We always get table side guacamole which is fun. Margaritas are great and the tequila not skimped on.
I always feast on ths shrimps brochettes. The Jalapeño pepper (without the seeds) adds a wonderful flavor along with the bacon around the shrimp. Not exactly a low sodium low cholesterol meal. My wife thinks that the cheese enchiladas are the best anywhere.
It is a nice splurge and we cant resist.
