Their snacks were so mouth-watering that we ate more than we could digest. We had all the finger foods from bhel puri, Pani puri, sev puri, samosas, vada pav, dahi puri, chats and just too many to mention. Just one thing, please do not try their Pani puri if your stomach is not made of titanium. It's mega spicy and feels like you're digesting a supernova. We were so full that we could barely walk out of the restaurant to our car. Again, it's a simple restaurant with bare minimum service but their food is worth everything and more. A must visit.

When at the Galleria, we starting searching Trip Advisor for an Indian Restaurant. We found this one and can't say enough about the food. My husband and three family members new to Houston ( all originally from South India) and I really enjoyed the authentic food. The restaurant is very casual; you order at the counter, pay and they deliver the food to your table. Everything was freshly prepared and appropriately spicy. Most of the folks at the restaurant were Indian which is always a good sign. This is a locally owned restaurant with great management and a great cook in the kitchen. Our family that we went with said this was the best Indian food they have had since moving to Houston 8 months ago! If the food is too spicy, just request some yogurts which will cool down the spices. Relax and enjoy!

Food was good but missed the spice and the crispness in the food. The food was average and good to eat and have an healthy lunch / dinner.

They serve serve Indian vegetarian food. So it is not like eating vegetarian food in a non-vegetarian restaurant (where one never knows if oil is mixed up, or utensils, are mixed up etc.) I am not sure if it is south indian or north or combo but the food is spicy (that is if you tell them - low spice). This is a small place with a lot of crowd. So, you should have the patience to wait. You first stand in a queue and buy the food you want. You can order say 7 dishes. Then you are given a token. You take that token and look for a table to sit. Usually in about 10 minutes you will get one. It is ok to stand next to a table when people are eating. There is no choice. You will get used to it, so will they :-). Then you wait for the person to come in and clean. Another 5 - 10 minutes. Then you have to get your own water and glasses and spoons from a place which is not all that clean. And then you will hear your token number being called out. Hooray your food is finally ready.. no that was for the dessert. Oh oh.. you are NOT going to get all your food in one shot. It will come as they prepare it. So if u go as a family, you are screwed. If u go just for a dosa it is ok. all dosa's will most likely come in one shot.

Great South Indian food. Good masala dosa. They also have a good combination plate. Reasonably price. But expect long waits
