If you have never tried Ethiopian food before, don't be intimidated. You are served a thin pancake that is the bread; you tear off small pieces and use them to pick up the food. The food is delicious! There are lots of options for vegetarians/vegans and all kinds of meat (beef, lamb, poultry, seafood), all of it cooked in sauces with spices. The food is not too spicy, so if you don't like that kind of thing, don't worry. And if you do, you can find some hotter dishes on the menu.
Blue Nile is a gem in a rather nondescript strip center. Don't be fooled by the outer appearance - the restaurant is clean, the servers are attentive, and the cooking is out of this world. My boyfriend had never had Ethiopian before, and now we both crave it when we haven't had it in a while.
Prices are reasonable; two of us can dine for $40 including beverages. Give this place a try - you won't be disappointed!
