Went for lunch today here for the first time. I decided to try the crawfish etouffee with green beans, black eye peas and cornbread for $12.88 with drink and tax.
Counter service was friendly and I enjoyed the meal. It was not the best etouffee that I have ever had but it was good and with the veggies which were very good this meal deserves 4 stars.
I can see why this is a popular lunch spot during the weekdays. I wish it was open on the weekends or at night because it would be easier for me to eat here as I don't work downtown. For those of you who do, you are lucky. I hope to get back sometime in the future to try the stuffed porkchop or something else
