I've been to Americas many times and even had my rehearsal dinner there. It has always been spectacular. This time we had the worst service we've ever had in the woodlands. We had two waiters; no one asked if we wanted appetizers, no one asked if we wanted dessert, no one even asked if we wanted more wine. We complained to the manager and nothing changed. We sat and waited for our check for over 30 min and finally had to walk upstairs before someone brought it to us. We won't be going back ever again.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving brunch at Americas and were so glad we did. There were plenty of traditional American Thanksgiving dishes as well as Latin specialties, including at least 5 meats and 5 desserts (pumpkin tres leches was wonderful!). Each dish was freshly prepared, never ran out, was served at the appropriate temperature. The bottomless drinks were a great value, even switched between drinks. We sat for 2 1/2 hours and never felt rushed though the servers were very friendly and attentive. Beautiful decor, may try the outdoor patio for drinks or a meal next time.

With unique decor, a quiet environment, and good service, the ambiance at America's is very nice and a favorite for a quiet date night. The plantain chips are excellent, and the food is good, albeit basic.
