Myself and a colleague ate here last week, busy so we ate at the bar, barman was knowledgable and friendly service was quick and attentive and filet was tasty although shrimp were a bit rubbery. Mushrooms were pretty average for the price but overall I enjoyed it. Dinner for two was about $130 for a single course and only one beer so pretty pricey.

I was really expecting a marvellous steak due to reputation but certainly not one of my best ever - must remember that Alberta beef is tough to beat ;-)

This has been one of the old established Houston Steakhouses that has been on my "Bucket List" to go to. It has been here since the 30's, but was taken over by the Landry group after original owner passed.
I was hoping that it hadn't changed in quality, since the change. We started out having Salads: Ceasar's for the wife, BLT salad for me. We had the 16 oz Ribeye, Potato au gratin. Wife likes her steak well done and sometimes that makes it somewhat dry. Not here... it was juicy and tender... Everything was great. The atmosphere is dark wood, cozy and overlooks garden. Dress should be business casual or better..There were a couple patrons that had blue jeans on, but majority of people were dressed nice. The wait staff were attentive without being "hovering"
We were impressed and were not disappointed in any part of the visit.

Truly a top of the line restaurant, recommend reservations. Awesome service and professional environment. Highly recommend for any family, a little on the steep side, but worth it.

First class food and service.

Crab cakes were some of the best we have ever had.

Side dishes were delicious.

Steak was perfectly prepared

Much better than Perry's.

Yesterday afternoon, my brother got married. They chose Brenner's SteakHouse as the place to host the reception.
It was absolutely wonderful. All of the guests were very pleased with the menu and food quality. The outside courtyard was a beautiful place to take pictures.
I have no idea how much it all cost because my brother kept it a secret, but I can tell you that everyone was pleased how this reception turned out. The service, food quality, and beautiful building and landscape make this an excellent place for a wedding receptIon or any kind of family reunion.
