Place has great drinks and the happy hour was great too. We sat at the bar and was a lively atmosphere with great people.

“Bad Service”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

Went to this restaurant to celebrate Valentine's Day with a group of 8 co-workers. The service was terrible and the server did not have a welcoming or pleasant attitude towards the group. Roses were given to the ladies at the end of the meal but only one person in our group was given a rose. When questioned, the server responded that they have ran out of roses. But when we exited the restaurant, we saw a basket of roses under the table by the kitchen area. We saw ladies leaving after us leaving with roses still. We asked the hostess to call the manager for us so we can ask about the roses. We waited a good 10 minutes but neither one showed up. WeI saw our server and told him about the roses that are under the table by the kitchen and it was not true that they have ran out of roses. He said he only told us what his manager told him to say. It's a total shame that the manager himself made up a lie and never showed up to talk to us about it.

“Business Lunch”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Visited this restaurant for the first time during a business lunch. Despite the rain, it was almost full to capacity. The service was great and everyone’s order was
made perfectly. The fish tacos were exceptional. Best I’ve had. Would definitely return and try other selections from the menu

“A Houston Classic for upscale Tex-mex”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

Ive been going to Cyclones for years and it only gets better. They added a few new locations a while back and upscaled the place without taking away from the food. Its named for a famous houston wrestler who took his winnings and went into the restaurant business and hes a heavy weight here. I went to the City Centre location which has outdoor seating in a neat mixed use development. The food is good, margaritas cold and tasty (get the jumbo!) and the scene lively. Give Cyclone a whirl sometime, its worth it!

Need I say more? They are amazing. Sunday brunch is good here too, but it is usually loud, so don't expect it to be intimate.
