Really friendly staff, excellent food and, as other reviewers have noted, amazing fruit-ade. A fun place for lunch in downtown Houston

“No Menu = No Thanks! Okay, overpriced food.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012 via mobile

First time at Irma's today. Surprised to see they don't have menus. I accepted the server's suggestion of a "combo" so I could try a few different things. The tamale and enchilada were just okay, but the beef fajita was chewy and yuck. expected better beef in Texas! i also ried their house-made lemonade, which I found sickly sweet. Guacamole was thick and yummy. One combo, one guac, one lemonade equaled $40 for lunch!! Since there were no menus, this high price came as a very unpleasant surprise. Nice servers, but never again!

“Fresh Mexican- I have never had better.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012 via mobile

The owner took time to meet and us and asked about where were from. The waiter was attentive and brought out our food quickly. The owner gave my husband a mole enchilada and it was delicious. The fruit-Aide is wonderful.

This location is only open morning until 3pm and caters to the downtown business people. The service was fast and friendly and the food was fresh.

“Really great Mexian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

Irma's grill serves amazing Mexican food, and the locals have confirmed to me it's one of the best places in town. Absolutely nothing to complain about the food - it was delicious. It's a little bit pricey and they don't have a printed menu, which made me a little bit uneasy. But you can check the menu and prices online on their website beforehand.
