“Very Enjoyable first time visit”
Reviewed December 29, 2012

wonderful atmosphere in the back room away from the kids and family. Our waiter Michael was wonderful and let us while away the night to a 3.5 hour dinner. Everything from the OsoBuco to the Lamb was delicious, fresh and tasty. The selection of bread for olive oil was nice and tira misu and cappaccino to end it was wonderful.

The only shortcoming is the relatively thin wine list and the prices. We had a nice wine from Umbria that was $45. We stopped at Specs the next day and picked it up for $15. A mark up I think is way to high!

We are wine drinkers and appreciate not getting gouged.

They did make a great Martini for me as well.

“Best Authentic Italian Restaurant in Houston”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

We dine here as often as we can. As a family, a couple, father daughter, and on business. Everything is authentic and delicious. The menu is even written with no typos. Service is ok. Only constructive criticisms: the menu selections seldom change so after years of dining there we are running out of choices. Decor should be spruced up too.

“The pizza and roasted chicken were good....”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

Tough to find a non-seafood dish for an alergic eater but what we did eat was good. It did not feel comfortable for ordinary folk though and we did not linger. The place was filled with the "beautiful" people. Dressed in expensive clothes, thin, connected, etc. The expensive sports cars right outside confirmed this is a place where only the rich go. If you are one of those, you will enjoy the experience.

“Magnifico!”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

From Nikko's warm welcome to the special attention from the chef in recognition of our anniversary, we settled in for an extraordinary evening with exceptional food and service. Our table was waiting for us when we arrived, Our server Francisco provided just the right amount of attention, and the chef did the rest. The trout was perfectly cooked and served on a bed of beautiful brown risotto, Sardinian-style. My salad had ample servings of calamari, fresh and light without breading. And, oh the dessert, a scrumptious sorbet over a fresh peach and served with a crispy homemade almond pastry. Arcodoro just made it to the top of my favorites.

“Bad customer service”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

I had dinner by myself at 10:00PM. Service was slow and not courteous. The server forgot my drink. I was asked if I wanted dessert but by the time someone asked me for my choice I was not hungry anymore!! It took forever for the check to be taken care of. I had to pay at the cashier. The manager took care of the check but never said a word or a thank you. It was an overall very bad experience. Nevertheless, the food was good.....
