A cuisine celebrating the rustic flavors and indigenous ingredients of the land and sea – from wild game to fish, herbs, fresh vegetables, handmade pastas and cured meats, Sardinian cheeses, honey and aromatic sauces. Menu highlights include carpaccios, risottos, pizza from the wood-burning oven, baked whole fish, house-made pastas and award-wining steaks. Watch a who’s who’s of local and visiting notables in the sophisticated dining room or book a table in one of the three private dining rooms.

We stopped in for wine and dinner on the patio. We were served wine that had gone bad, so asked for a new glass. The replacement was bad too. Food was overpriced and mediocre. Decided to leave, they tried to charge us for the wine. When we objected, they came back with an even larger check with a "forced gratuity" of 18 percent.
Save yourself the hassle avoid this place else. There is a great spot just steps away, Grand Lux.

We just had lunch setting outside which was very nice. The Atmosphere is good even while looking into a parking lot. I had the Rissoto ai Frutti di Mare $17, my spouse had the Trota Pomodorini $17. Both meals were good but not really great. Our waiter Joshua was very helpful and friendly. Although we enjoyed our lunch we will probably go and try another Italian Restaurant when in this area of Houston. Valet parking is available and complimentary.

Arcodoro is quite beautiful inside, the decor is elegant yet relaxing. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The location is good too, opposite The Galleria in Houston. Worth a visit... quite expensive, but worth it. They are on Restaurant.com, so worth getting a gift certificate from there.

I met colleagues here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. We had a delectable appetizer plate with prosciutto, cured sausage, tomatoes, olives and mozarella in the bar while waiting for a table. It was awesome and I would go back just for that. I had the lamb encrusted with pistachio and it was delicious, though I did think the portion was small. We shared an unusal dessert of pastry wrapped around cheese topped with honey and a side of ice cream. I hate that I had to share it! It was delicious---a wonderful blend of savory and sweet. I hope to return here to try more of their tasty offerings.
