My boyfriend and I have had Mockingbird on our to-do list for a while so I decided to take him here for his birthday last week for happy hour. We had the best experience! Service was outstanding and the staff was very attentive to us. Of course, the food was delicious! The lobster risotto balls are a must try! To top the whole evening off, they gave him a dessert on the house w/ a birthday candle and all!

We ate here for NYE. The best part of the 3 course meal was the dessert and the festive atmosphere, with the balloons and guest hats.

The dessert was a special creation, and was fantastic. It was some type of creme brulee. Also the mixed drinks were amazing, as they do know how to make a French 75.

The first and second course, on the other hand were just average, the steak was a bit overcooked and the soup was not anything special.

We would have thought for the celebration of the day, NYE, they would have a little more creative of a set menu. There's always next year!

We love coming here. Great ambience in this converted old house.
Service is impeccable.
Wine list marvelous.
Food as usual wonderful.
I tried the bouillibaisse which was outstanding. My wife enjoyed her lamb.
The pomme frites are to die for.
All in all a great evening.

Mockingbird is our special go to place as it is always delicious-I try to order different things and have never been disappointed. Theyhave special prix fixe from time to time and all the selections are incredible and varied. The atmosphere is unusual and inviting-many elements like a stairway to nowhere and interesting lighting fixtures make it a visual delight as well as artistic plating. The chef really cares about quality and has a special touch.
