Better Mexican food you will not find! Excellent atmosphere and very relaxing vibe. Doesn't have a chain feel at all and very knowledgeable servers. Fabulous fajitas. A must do visit for sure.

There's a restaurant kingdom in Houston, Texas founded by the Pappas family. Choices from high quality steaks to seafood and more choices at many different locations. There's a Sunday brunch offered at their Cantinas. The choices are limited but those restaurants are generally good to very good. At the Cantina on Richmond Ave. at Kirby during the brunch and perhaps at other times too there is a component woven into the service that can only be identified as stupid, arrogant, stupid, arrogant.
It's a timely process during brunch, at least, that a patron wanting a second or third cup of coffee will have to wait until the server goes to the kitchen area and returns, not with a pot, but a single cup of coffee. Guests wanting a refill on their water or ice tea at the table are served at their table
with a pitcher of ice tea or water ? If a manager is asked why not coffee in a coffee pot for a second, third, or other cup they are seemingly schooled to say "Well we don't want to look like a Denny's or an IHOP". That's nuts but that's the way it is. My attitude is that Houston, Texas being a grand and diverse restaurant city there's no reason not to dine elsewhere.

If you want great service, ask for "Brad"...he's a trainer for all the new waitstaff. The food at Little Pappasitos is always great. The menu offers incredible variety. You'll want to go back again and again! We look forward to dining at Little Pappasito's everytime we visit Houston.

They have some higher priced items, but we all had tacos which were more reasonable. Lots of unique drinks, also expensive. We had a looooonnnggg wait for our dessert, which was odd. Tables are close together and because it's crowded, very noisy. All that said, the food was good and our server pleasant and helpful.

Seems like prices keep going up. Also, for about $17.00, my plate of quesadillas only had 6, and they were small. Customers see that!!
