Description: Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.

The tuna appetiser was nice. The steaks was very good - not perfect. The wine list is expensive and we were guided to more expensive wines. We did tip but when I got my bill an extra $10 had been taken. It could have been an error but I think it has happened before - which is a shame.

Food and service were outstanding on Saturday, November 17th. I attended a large dinner party that went on while another large party and a wedding party were going on. Service was nothing short of spectacular and the food was quite delicious. The beef tenderloins were fork tender and very flavorful. I sampled my son's turtle soup and my wife's gumbo which were outstanding as well. Don't skip the bread pudding or the bananas foster. HIGHLY recommended!!

Love this restaurant. Must eat here once or twice a month. Classic menu. from the soups to the salads to the main entrees. Fish entree's are mouth watering. Love to go to the jazz brunch on Sunday. The restaurant was rebuilt after the hurricane. They have managed to perfect the atmosphere. It is truly a Houston Gem!

Celebrated our anniversary here. The experience was perfect. We love the New Orleans taste and the atmosphere was just perfect. I was so impressed that we ordered a salad however, the waiter returned and said the chef had removed this item from the menu due to the ingredients not meeting his expectation; a new menu was provided. The food/service superb.
