Excellent food, nice ambiance. Well a little bit expensive. Average for two person consider $100 plus.
We took their Salmon and Steak fillet. Both were very good. As appetizer we took baby spinach salad, the dressing had lots of garlic! But overall very good. Will return one day to try their other things.

“"Great Food" and "Great Service"”

We first went to Masraff's for a wine dinner and have continued to return as often as possible. The staff and owners always go out of their way to make sure you have a great dinner experience. We have returned for special occasions and entertaining friends and have not been disappointed. The wine list is fantastic and every dish that has come from the "evenly consistent" kitchen is magnificent. The location is prime and the setting is magnificent. The Galleria area complements the huge windows overlooking striking fireplaces a waterfall and the open kitchen. There are three different dining rooms with their own feel. The wine room is very intimate while the main dining room is not to be missed. Their bar area is full service and has its own great vibe. Can't wait until my next meal.

“Outstanding Food and Service”

We had not been to Masraff's since before they moved to Post Oak. I don't know why we waited so long, as the experience was terrific! Barry and Tracy took very good care of us. We both started with the Gazpacho soup, which was delicious. You can get it with a crab garnish ($3.00 extra). My husband ordered the tuna and scallop duo and I got the grouper special. Both dishes were cooked perfectly. I hate when seafood is overcooked!

We were seated in the first dining room to the left, which has only 8 tables. I liked it because it was quiet. The decor is beautiful. The service is gracious and friendly! Can't wait to go back!

“Over the top.”

This was the first time visiting Masraff's and I will probably go back.
The room we were in was lovely, lined with wine bottles and small enough to feel intimate.
When I got to browse the wine list I was very impressed, especially with some of the French whites that most other restaurants have abandoned for their California counterparts.
I had done some research and the first course was two appetizers, the calamari in a béchamel sauce and the jumbo lump crab cakes. The calamari was superb, but the crab cake was strange, with a texture that was too light. I was expecting big sweet chunks of crab, but it was almost like a crab meringue and it came with a beurre blanc, plus for no good reason, aioli too.
My main course was wild salmon, and it was perfectly cooked and presented, but for some reason there seemed to be four different sauces on the plate, plus the vegetables (forgotten) and some slices of sweet potato underneath the salmon.
A superb coffee and an unusual Armagnac finished off the meal.
The takeaway from this was "Better is the enemy of good." I got the feeling that the kitchen has confused complication with accomplishment.
Will I go back? Probably, but with a better idea of how to order the food, as it was in the top three restaurants I have visited in Houston in the last year.

Had the bacon wrapped bison steak. It was AMAZING. The calamari appetizer was also very tasty. It was a great place to talk business with my colleagues.
