Description: Masraff's on Post Oak Blvd is a casually elegant upscale restaurant owned and operated by Houston restaurateurs, Tony and Russell Masraff. The restaurant has quickly become a local favorite with it's unique American cuisine and contemporary ambiance. Best described as American cuisine with a touch of Southern Europe, the seafood, fowl, homemade pastas, lamb, beef and seasonal game will satisfy the most discriminating diner. Soon after opening, Masraff's received stellar early reviews, including the prestigious three-star rating from the Houston Chronicle Dining Guide, as well as being named among the ten new restaurants on the culinary cutting edge in the US by The Wall Street Journal. For a delightful culinary experience, dine at the Chef's Table, where the Chef prepares a gourmet six -course dinner of his choosing. The Restaurant, which has recently moved to 1753 Post Oak Blvd from its former location at 1025 S.Post Oak Lane, seats over 200 for lunch and dinner.

The attention to detail, and their desire to please makes Masfaff's a must do while in Houston. The staff from the bus boys to the ownership are there to make sure that everything is done to your satisfaction. Highly recommend Masfaff's.

I was taken here be friends last evening. My friends call this restaurant "their favorite". Personally I think they can do better. The decor is sleek and mod and attitude at the door is a bit expected at a restaurant that is posing. The food was, for the price, well done. The service was professional. Two owners made a visit to our table and were appropriately solicitous. I had only two serious complaints with this place: First the noise level was the worst. We were screaming at each other all evening and by the time I left I felt I need to see an Audiologist. The volume level made the entire experience forgettable and unrepeatable. Second, one expects a little attitude at the door when a reservation is expected and you don't have one. But, after being seated - being told over and over how busy they are and making excuses for service and making patrons feel as if establishment is doing them a favor by serving them... sorry I'm paying and expect to get what I pay for. All in all the place is nice, the food is not embarrassing and the service is adequate - will there by any Michelin stars in their future - No.

We had heard about this place so much and went there at lunch time. It can get noisey and not much you can do about it. Even after putting the movable partitions the noise comes through. Service can be better. I feel for the price you pay you have other alternate choices near by.

My wife and I travel to Houston regularly and we recently discovered Masraff's and a wonderful discovery it was. The location is very convenient near the Galleria and the decor is new and fresh. The menu is creative and the service is just right. They have a good wine selection and a helpful staff but it is the food that keeps us coming back. We try to go early in the evening before they get too crowded. Valet parking is convenient and free.

Food is cooked to perfection. Every taste will prove to be supreme. Service is as good as the menu. The atmosphere could be better, the only drawback I can point out is that the place does become a bit loud. Nevertheless, it can be clearly understood why Masraff's is ranked as Houston's top ten restaurants. Fine food lovers will find this place paradisiac.
